Most people do not think of Alaska being a desert, however a good portion of the state is just that. Amidst the thawing Tundra and the rocky coast of Prudhoe Bay along the frozen Arctic Ocean I came upon these barren sand dunes.

Early on in my life I knew I wanted to be an artist. I would sit for hours and draw, mostly using pen and colored pencils. As a young adult I became interested in scuba diving. This opened up a whole new world to me. I purchased a camera so I can take photos of my adventures with the goal of using those as reference for my artwork. I soon discovered that I really enjoyed photography and delved head first into my new medium, I haven't looked back since. I started working in a portrait studio so I can learn more about photography, 15 years later I decided I had enough of portrait and wedding photography. I wanted to create artwork that showed the world what I loved to explore, so I went into nature and wildlife photography. My work has...
