Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

The Silverswords have silvery hairs and fleshy leaves. This plant is especially adapted to hot dry climate of the Haleakala Volcano. The plants live from 3 to 90+ years. They have a spectacular display of a flowering stalk that rises out of the center of the plant once during the plant’s lifespan. Shortly after the flower bloom the plant dies and scatters its seeds in the wind.
These plants, once thriving, used to ripped out of the ground and taken home by visitors as souvenirs. Now protected, the plant depends on the management efforts of staff at the Haleakala National Park to ensure its survival. The staff has taken measures to remove pests that may eat the plants and setup fences to keep them out. They remove non-native invasive species of plants that may crowd and compete with Silverswords for resources. Early on in my life I knew I wanted to be an artist. I would sit for hours and draw, mostly using pen and colored pencils. As a young adult I became interested in scuba diving. This opened up a whole new world to me. I purchased a camera so I can take photos of my adventures with the goal of using those as reference for my artwork. I soon discovered that I really enjoyed photography and delved head first into my new medium, I haven't looked back since. I started working in a portrait studio so I can learn more about photography, 15 years later I decided I had enough of portrait and wedding photography.
